Support for rendering the [NOTE] Keyword in Use and Remarks fields is now present in 1st Words releases 0.8.235 and beyond.
Basically this allows you to insert the word [NOTE] into any memo field in your data base and when rendered into a draft document it will be highlight to draw attention to the note. Very handy for calling your readers attention to some point of discussion in the document drafts.
The keyword will be highlighted from the string pattern "[NOTE" until a final closing "]" is found, along with any text in between. This allows you to highlight a thought mid-sentence if need be.
Here is a short entry showing the note keyword style in use.
Also keep in mind that FHWA has recently funded the "hyper-text improvement" feature as well which will add the ability to provide some simple markup in you entries as well. You might want to look at the threads for highlighting markup in the ASN.1 and XML sections as well.

With release x410 and beyond, where rich text formatting (RTF) is now supported, if RTF is used this keyword is ignored.
You can added this type of highlighting yourself in the RTF if needed.
Its presence in plain text is still supported as before.
