In a few minutes I will post (here) a white paper on how to overcome a problem that users of the Apache Axis have with ITS stds schema sets when the Sequence Of construct is rendered.

Looking for feedback, because I think we want to make the recommended changes in the current ATIS edition and I need to know is this could cause someone I had not considered.

I think your idea to produce a simpler schema is a good idea. From the point of view of a DOM and object binding user the extra depth is just useless depth and complexity.
